Ellen DeGeneres is getting even busier. The daytime talk show host is launching Ellen's Design Challenge on HGTV via her Very Good Productions shingle. The competition series will debut in 2015.
The six-part series will feature contestants competing by sketching, design and building furniture in 24 hours, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I'm so excited about this show because I love finding really special pieces of furniture," DeGeneres said. "One time I found a beautiful one-of-a-kind armoire that spoke to me in a way I'd never experienced. It turned out there was a drifter living inside of it, but that's a story for another time."
So much for all those rumors of Chelsea Handler possibly replacing David Letterman on late night television.The exiting E! talk show host visited The Ellen Degeneres Show and discussed her possible move to other networks. Talk show queen, comedian and Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres was named the No. 1 most powerful LBGT by OUT. However, she wasn't the only individual familiar to TV fans. James Franco isn't the only one humorously shading Ellen DeGeneres' record-breaking Oscar night Twitter selfie. President Barack Obama made a guest appearance on Ellen. The two discussed the host's social media feat. DeGeneres apologized for breaking Obama's retweet record. He remarked:
I heard about that. I thought it was a pretty cheap stunt myself, getting all those celebrities in the background and feeding them pizza.

Franco recently spoke with The Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie, alongside his Of Mice and Men Broadway co-stars. During the chat he joked about being the one to first do a selfie at the Oscars. Franco stated:
