Bethenny Frankel to Ellen DeGeneres on Divorce" I Feel Like a Failure"


Fresh on the heels of her divorce announcement, Bethenny Frankel stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to open up about her personal life. The reality star/business mogul was frank with boss and friend DeGeneres about her situation:

It's difficult. Do I want to be doing this exact thing right now? No, but I can't just only be on reality TV and show everything when it's fairy princess, fairy tale and then not take my hits when I have to. I've kind of had the best worst year ever. So I have to, you know, it's the highs and the lows. ... Just going through something personal you have so many different emotions and I feel like a bit of a disappointment to all of you. And, I feel like a failure.

Ellen DeGeneres to Receive 2012 Mark Twain Prize For American Humor

Comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been named the 2012 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor recipient, The Kennedy Center has announced. A number of celebrities including Kristin Chenoweth, Steve Harvey, Sean Hayes, Jimmy Kimmel, John Krasinski, John Leguizamo, Jane Lynch, Jason Mraz, Lily Tomlin and Loudon Wainwright III, among others are set to salute DeGeneres on October 22. Ellen DeGeneres Wants You to Vote For Stuff

With the election season in full swing, Hollywood has rolled out a campaign encouraging American’s to vote in this year’s election. Comedian and daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres joined Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Selena Gomez, Edward Norton, Jonah Hill, Benicio Del Toro, Sarah Silverman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and soap grad  Amanda Seyfried in the bipartisan campaign Vote 4 Stuff.

DiCaprio told the Associated Press:

"This is one of the most important elections of our lifetime," said DiCaprio, whose production company, Appian Way, is a producer of Vote 4 Stuff. "We are using the power of social media throughout the Vote 4 Stuff campaign to incite bipartisan conversation around real issues, encourage registration and voting in November."

The tongue-in-cheek video features stars saying what they’d vote for. Zac Efron claims he’d vote to keep tigers out of school and for more high fives.  Deltoro would cast his ballot for 4-day weekends. Ellen claims she’d vote to give women the right to vote. Bethenny Frankel Talk Show Gets Full Pick Up

Bethenny Frankel apparently did a nice showing during her talk show's six-week trial run. On Monday's episode of Ellen, the former reality star announced Bethenny has been picked up. Executive Producer Ellen DeGeneres stated:

We are not going to give a lot of details, because we can’t. But, it is safe to say she will be on television soon. The television show will be back on the air.

Bethenny's trial run debuted in Fox markets in Dallas (KDWF at 1 PM), Los Angeles (KTTV 2 PM),  Minneapolis (KMSP 10 AM), New York (WNYW 11 AM), Philadelphia, (11 AM) and Phoenix (KSAZ 11 AM). According to Celebuzz, the show tested highly in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Minneapolis.   Watch Frankel and DeGeneres discuss their good news after the jump!
