Sonny Lays Down the Law With Adrienne on Days of Our Lives

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was in his hospital bed having dreams about what happened at the hotel. He woke up to see Daniel (Shawn Christian) standing over him. When Daniel asked if he remembered what happened to him, he said yes. Eric recalled something going very wrong, but not what. Daniel asked him if he’d eaten, drank or smelled anything unusual that might be connected to the poisoning. Eric remembered showering, and then passing out. He woke up in pain, and to Nicole finding him there. READ MORE

Soap Stars Scoop Up Swag at Daytime Emmy Gifting Suite (PHOTOS)

There was a General Hospital father and daughter reunion at the Daytime Emmy Gifting Suite.  Rick Hearst and Haley Pullos–who portray father and daughter Ric Lansing and Molly Lansing–posed for photos in the gifting suite where soap stars snagged swag on June 15.  Hearst last appeared on General Hospital in 2009, the same year Pullos took over the role of a SORASED Molly.

Kathy Griffin, Nancy Lee Grahn and More to Present at 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards

Let's hope HLN has a great tape delay device handy. Outlandish comedienne Kathy Griffin will be one of the presenters at the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Equally-outspoken soap queen Nancy Lee Grahn from General Hospital will also be presenting, as will Rachael Ray, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Erika Slezak, Kristen Alderson, Lindsey Morgan, Freddie Smith, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler, Sheryl Underwood, Jason Thompson, Chandler Massey and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. Days of Our Lives' Arianna Grace, This is Your Soap Operatic Life! (PHOTOS)

Days of Our Lives' William Reed Roberts Horton (Chandler Massey) might not have had time to buy pink cigars—what with having caught a bullet, while trying to rescue his homophobic cousin/rival Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) from his prison rapist—so I figured we would take a little time out to properly salute soaps' most heroic daddy of the moment and his new bundle of joy.

Ah yes, what a wonderful future little Arianna Grace has waiting for her in Salem, U.S.A. We predict at least two custody battles, no less than three SORASings, a Sweeps-period attempted murder of one or more step-parent by the lil' dumpling, only for Ari. G to have her very own out-of-wedlock teen pregnancy storyline circa 2020.

By this point, the no doubt insanely-popular actress playing Arianna Grace, will leave the serial for a lead role in ABC Family's latest hit drama, Nasty Little Harlots. I will of course do a Wishful Casting, suggesting DAYS do whatever it takes to snatch General Hospital's Brooklyn Rae Silzer away from ABC.

Oh, you didn't know Brookie will be in intense contract negotiations to continue on as triplets Emma, Jemma and Karema Drake by that point? You so need better sources.

Check out more pics below of Will, his boyfriend Sonny (Freddie Smith) and his parents Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Sami (Alison Sweeney) goo-goo-ga-ga-ing over baby Arianna Grace. Did you ever think you'd see a Mee Maw with a pink streak in her hair?

EXCLUSIVE: Wally Kurth Talks Getting More Days of Our Lives Airtime and Possible General Hospital Return

Almost at the halfway point of 2013, one could say it's been a pretty good year for Wally Kurth so far. The veteran soap star is being used frequently on NBC's Days of Our Lives as Justin Kiriakis and his General Hospital character, Ned Ashton is also back in play on the ABC Daytime soap.

I caught up with Kurth at the recent Days of Our Lives Charity Event for Autism Speaks in Atlanta. Amid plenty of appetizers, cocktails and exuberant fans, we chatted about his two defining suds roles.

DC: You've been having a pretty good year. You're on DAYS and you were on GH again.

Wally Kurth: Yeah!

DC: I've been reading in spoilers that Justin is going to be mixing it up even more with EJ and Sami?

WK: Yeah. I love it. I'm working! When you mix it up with those two, you get some airtime. READ MORE
