Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her Gladiators continue to dominate the ratings on Thursday night. Scandal's midseason finale topped the 18-49 demographic with 3.2 million viewers. It was the second highest-rating ever in that particular demo. Needless to say, ABC's hit primetime soap is shutting it down in the ratings department!
The last new Scandal episode of 2013 did not disappoint. The high-charged outing saw several game changers that set up a wild second half of the season.
Sally Murdered Her Husband
Viewers got to see the explosive fight that led to Sally (Kate Burton) stabbing Daniel Douglas (Jack Coleman) with a letter opener. She bellowed his sodomy was threatening her career, and he mentioned how they both used each other. Daniel pointed out Sally has always been his beard. This week’s Scandal will explore the fallout from last week's revelation that Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) mother is a terrorist.
Olivia will do whatever it takes to make sure Maya (Khandi Alexander) is taken back into custody. Meanwhile, Quinn (Katie Lowes) is still on her quest to make amends for betraying Huck (Guillermo Díaz) and the team.

Scandal continues to dominate in the ratings race during the 10 pm Thursday night timeslot in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic. The show was up 45 percent from the same week last year in the demo, increasing from a 2.0 in Fall 2012 to a 2.9 in Fall 2013. READ MORE
