As General Hospital fans mourn AJ Quatermaine’s (Sean Kanan) ascension to the Upper Room, The Bold and the Beautiful watchers are gearing up for Kanan's return as dastardly Deacon Sharpe. B&B showrunner Bradley Bell dished with TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan about what to expect from Deacon's June 13 return.
TV Guide Magazine: With Bill and Quinn [Rena Sofer], you already have two heavyweight badasses on the canvas. Is there room for yet a third?
Bell: [Laughs] There's always room for more trouble! And it becomes especially potent when trouble meets trouble. You're going to see some great stuff with Deacon and Quinn.
TV Guide Magazine: Are we talking romance?
Bell: Possibly. Those two will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. I had to laugh when I looked at the calendar. Deacon comes back to us on Friday the 13th, which is perfect! It was meant to be. READ MORE
The Young and the Restless' Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) just can't get out of the dog house these days. The Genoa City billionaire is being grilled by the FDA. He stayed mum on his son's hit-and-run killling of Delia Abbott and hired his dead granddaughter's doppleganger to haunt his ex-wife/-daughter-in-law. Just what is going on? Braeden spoke with TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan to give his take on what's up with his alter ego.
TV Guide Magazine: Let's talk Victor Newman. He's always up to no good but I can't recall a time when he was in so much potential hot water for so many reasons — from keeping quiet about Adam killing Delia to being investigated by the FDA to hiring Fake Cassie. The writers are really piling it on! What's up with that?
Braeden: I don't know. It may presage a kind of downfall for Victor and then a return from the ashes. I never want to know what's going to happen ahead of time. That's no temptation for me. But I do feel the writers want to knock him off his pedestal. But, in Victor's mind, it's all totally justified. He rationalizes all of it.
Forget February sweeps. March is all about romance, suspense and drama on The Bold and the Beautiful!
In a new interview with TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan, showrunner Brad Bell gives the scoop on Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Katie's (Heather Tom) upcoming sex scene, which sends Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to the bottle!
Bell also explains what's going on with creepy Aly Ashlyn Pearce). Check out an excerpt:
TV Guide Magazine: Ridge and Katie sealing the deal with sex (March 18) must be devastating for Brooke, no?
Bradley Bell: Brooke is completely stunned. Her head is spinning. She never loses! It's such a foreign concept to her that she could be No. 2 — and losing Ridge to her sister, Katie, of all people! When B&B started, who would have thought that little Katie with the pimples would steal away the one and only Ridge Forrester? [Laughs] It was the ultimate long shot! Brooke feels very betrayed by Katie.
Location shoots are alive and well at The Bold and the Beautiful. TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan is reporting B&B is jetting off to film in the United Arab Emirates, for a storyline featuring Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont).
The idea to tape in Abu Dhabi and Dubai came about courtesy of Lang, who is participating in a triathlon inAbu Dhabi. According to showrunner Brad Bell:
"Kelly asked me for time off to take part in the event and I said, 'Well, how about we all come with you?" reveals Bell. "So we're going to back up the station wagon and all pile in!" READ MORE
