Oprah Winfrey Gets STEAMY With Terrence Howard in The Butler!

What a way to end a movie! The Mighty O tweeted a teaser pic of herself and sexy, caramel drop Terrence Howard on the set of Lee Daniel's The Butler. The film is based on the real-life story of a black butler (Forest Whitaker) who worked in the White House serving eight presidents.

Winfrey plays Whitaker's on screen wife. Jane Fonda, Alan Rickman, Robin Williams, Lenny Kravitz, John Cusack and Minka Kelly also star. The Butler, which is slated to hit theaters in 2013, marks the talk show titan's first non-animated feature film role since 1998's Beloved. READ MORE

OWN Enters Scripted TV Development With Tyler Perry

BFF's Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry are in business together once again. Deadline is reporting OWN and Perry have signed a multi-year deal for two scripted series. Perry will write, direct and executive produce the series for a mid-2013 debut on OWN. This is the first venture into scripted development for OWN. Said Winfrey:

I have been looking forward to the day when we would be in the position to enter the world of scripted television.  That day has come. We are all energized by the opportunity to collaborate with Tyler who has a proven track record for producing highly successful cable series.

Iyanla: Fix My Life Premieres Strong for OWN

Oprah’s cable network OWN has received more positive ratings news. According to Deadline, Iyanla: Fix My Life was the channel’s best debut since the network premiered. Meanwhile, Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s hit a series high with its second season premiere.

Featuring life coach Iyanla Vanzant, Fix My Life’s 10 PM Saturday show earned a 1.18 rating in the women 25-54 demo and 1.1 million total viewers. That was second in the demo for its time period among all ad-supported cable networks behind ABC Family’s airing of The Blind Side.

Usher To Appear on Oprah's Next Chapter Sunday


On the heels of a custody ruling in his favor, R&B star Usher is taking a trip to the hot seat on Oprah's Next Chapter. The singer opens up to Oprah about his custody battle with ex-wife Tameka Raymond, the death of his stepson and his emotional breakdown in court. Oprah Winfrey Among Subs for Good Morning America's Robin Roberts

Get ready to wake up to Oprah in the morning. The Mighty O has been listed as one of several celebrity co-hosts tapped to sit in at Good Morning America, with Robin Roberts having temporarily departed the show for medical leave.

While Roberts is out, Winfrey,Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Chris RockRob Lowe, Kelly Ripa, the entire cast of Modern Family and other surprise guests will fill in. An emotional Roberts told viewers:

I'm having to move up my schedule. I am very blessed. Forty percent of Americans can't even take a sick day, and here I know that I'm going to have a job when I come back.
