Alright Days of our Lives fans! Don't forget to set your DVR's for Kristian Alfonso and co-star Peter Reckell's 30 Rock appearance on NBC. The View's  Sherri Shepherd will also reprise her role as Tracy Jordan's (Tracy Morgan) demanding wife Angie. Shepherd's co-host Whoopi Goldberg makes a special guest star apperance as well. 30 Rock airs at 9:30/8:30 Central.

Days of our Lives pulled out all the stops once again for the Day of Days event at Universal Studios Hollywood this past weekend. Fan's favorite stars, including: Alison Sweeney, Arianne Zucker, Billy Hayes, Bryan Dattilo, Casey Deidrick, Crystal Chappell, Dylan Patton, Eric Martsolf, Galen Gering, James Scott, Jay Kenneth Johnson, James Reynolds, Joseph Mascolo, Lauren Koslow, Lindsay Hartley, Louise Sorel, Mark Hapka, Molly Burnett, Nadia Bjorlin, Peggy McCay,  Peter Reckell, Renee Jones, Shelley Hennig, Susan Seaforth Hayes, Suzanne Rogers, Taylor Spreitler and Terrell Ransom Jr. turned out for the event.

Peter Reckell swung by BuzzWorthy Radio recently and dropped a bit of news to listeners. He, along with his Days of our Lives co-star Kristian Alfonso, will make a guest appearance on 30 Rock. No word yet on what roles he and Alfonso will play or the air date.

Can't wait to see the duo bust out their comedic timing.

Ok, so it's been a while since you last heard from me writing for Daytime Confidential. I am making a comeback. A comeback similar to that of Crystal Chappell in the role of Carly Manning on Days of Our Lives. On Friday October 2nd, Carly stuck a knife into Lawrence in the closing scenes of the show. It was a show-stopping cliffhanger that soaps almost fear to have in the Common Era. It was a Friday left hanging, with fans wondering who she was, struck with an "Oh My God" impression that quickly starts to trigger the heart aflutter, with the hope viewers will return in droves on Monday to witness the conclusion. Brilliant writing, brilliant direction and, as they say, surprise is always the greatest element of attack. READ MORE
