First Look: Snoop Lion Returns to One Life to Live May 28!

Guess who’s back! The Online Network has just released a clip of Snoop Lion’s visit to One Life to Live just in time for “Snoop Week”. From May 28 until June 6, the rapper/actor stops by Llanview to chill with his old friends Bo (Robert S. Woods) and Nora (Hillary B. Smith), and give some words of wisdom to Matthew (Robert Gorrie). Snoop’s trip to Llanview will also promote his new documentary, Reincarnated (out in stores now and on iTunes), which follows the Grammy award-winning artist’s journey from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion.

During “Snoop Week,” The Online Network will transform their website and social networking pages with Snoop’s photo-bombing app Snoopify to get fans to interact via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Check out the clip of Snoop surprising Bo and Nora after the jump! READ MORE

Tuesday’s One Life to Live started with Vimal (Nick Choksi) sniffing Rama’s (Shenaz Treasury) neck. The two talked about her job at Shelter, their open marriage and whether or not she was sleeping with other men.

Meanwhile, Todd (Roger Howarth) poured himself a glass of the alcohol Victor (Trevor St. John) had poisoned.

INTERVIEW: Sexy Robert Gorrie Talks Moving Matthew Buchanan Into Manhood on One Life to Live

Let's get one thing clear, hot-bodied, young thespian Robert Gorrie isn't trying to replace Eddie Alderson. The One Life to Live newcomer drove that point home several times while I chatted with him during a recent set visit. What Gorrie is trying to accomplish, is successfully navigating baby daddy/bad boy Matthew Buchanan's twisty journey into adulthood on the TOLN soap.

Will that journey involve controversial, new story arcs for Matthew  and Destiny (Laura Harrier)? What role with Matthew's old flame Dani Delgado-Manning (Kelley Missal) play in his baby mama drama? Don't forget about new hunk in town Jeffrey King (Corbin Bleu). Gorrie reveals how Matt will be interacting with all three, not to mention the extended Buchanan family. To borrow from one CBS soap, OLTL is about to get hella young and very restless!

Daytime Confidential: What made you sign onto One Life to Live?

Robert Gorrie: I particularly liked the challenge of this new media platform. Internet television is the future and I felt like, to be a part of something that’s just on the cusp of becoming the norm in the industry, and to be on the first soap to do it, I just thought it was a really unique opportunity. I think a lot of eyeballs are going to catch it. READ MORE

One Life to Live's Bob Woods on Connecticut Shooting Schedule: "We'll Be Working Five Weeks and Be Off Five"

Will the taping schedule for Prospect Park's reboots of All My Children and One Life to Live prove less taxing for the casts and crews than the traditional daytime model? Bob Woods thinks it will. Here's what the soon-to-be-returning Bo Buchanan told Soap Opera Digest

"It looks like we'll be working five weeks and be off five, six weeks, so it's kind of cool! Especially compared to what it was, because that's what burned me out. We were doing four shows in a day and that's just too much for an old guy like me." READ MORE
