MSNBC's Tamron Hall has been named co-host of Today's third hour, the morning show has announced. She officially joins Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist, where she has been helping fill in on a regular basis.
“We’re really excited to officially welcome Tamron into the TODAY family,” said Don Nash, TODAY's Executive Producer. “She brings wit, enthusiasm and a keen sensibility to an all-around fantastic team, and I think Tamron, Al, Natalie and Willie will have a lot of fun together hosting the third hour.”
Could MSNBC’s Tamron Hall become The Today Show’s third hour host? TV Guide is reporting Hall is currently in talks with NBC News to be a co-host of the struggling morning show’s third hour alongside Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist.
Hall already pinch hits for The Today Show dishing the news and appearing in the Orange Room segments. In addition to her duties on The Today Show, Hall hosts MSNBC’s NewsNation and Deadline: Crime on Investigation Discovery.
