If Chloe was fighting Kristin for Brady or someone for Phillip, I would be all over it. I never was, I am not now, nor will I ever be interested in anything to do with Dr. Dan! And there he is, every damned day--Mr. submitted for a best SUPPORTING ACTOR Emmy. The guy gets ten times the airtime EJ gets and, most likely, is the reason Peter Reckell left. I recall Reckell stating how it was obvious the writers wanted to concentrate on certain characters over others--over Bo. They want to focus on Dr Jonas for sure! Never without "story". Never on the back burner. Never without TWO women chasing after him. Ugh! Enough!

I'm going to have to say that it was Days...for the exact same reasons stated above.

This week, I actually watched all four soaps for the first time in a long time and Days was the least satisfying. If for some inexplicable reason TPTB feel the need to keep the charisma-challenged Shawn Christian and Melissa Reeves on the payroll, they should at least spare the audience and have them be supporting players rather than feature them in frontburner cliché-filled storylines.

I utterly agree with the previous statements. I just watched all of this week's Days, 5 episodes in a row, and Dannifer/Chloe/Nancy were on every. single. day. Not only that, but they've been made as the second most important storyline after Kristen/Brady/John. It's ridiculous.

I don't get the appeal the Daniel/Jennifer pairing has to have on the writers. I couldn't stomach them the time time around and don't like it the 2nd time either. Their so called problems are so boring and could be easily fixed if they would actually speak with each other and don't fall for the same crap that Nicole put them through six months ago.
While I enjoy Chloe and Nancy scheming. It that what they scheme for that's just not worth it.

And besides that it's clear that DAYS has the most stupidest characters ever. John's not smart, Brady a fool and Jennifer/Hope having a conversation near by Anne should know better too. It's like some of these characters want to be used. And that maybe appealing to the writers but not necessarily to the audience.

However, I do enjoy Kristen/Brady as a pairing and have so much fun with Kristen as a character. I'm happy that Stefano is finally back in Salem and that EJami is FINALLY together. A lot to love about DAYS but things the writers just have to work on...

I too echo everyone's sentiments regarding Dannifer. It was mildly entertaining at the outset with Chloe thrown in the mix(and adding Nancy sweetened the pot a little) but those two ate up way too much screentime this week. However, I will say everything else about the show this week--Bristen/Jarlena, Ejami, WilSon/Nick/Gabi/Nick's hot prison husband--was pretty aces.

I concur. Pity that that one major bad apple really makes such a stink in a barrel of goodness.

"Nick's hot prison husband"--funny. I sort of hope he didn't attack Nick, but maybe wanted to love him and Nick just couldn't handle it. haha Probably not though. I assume it is their plan to make us sympathize with Nick again by making this guy pretty rotten.

Days has been a struggle to watch for awhile now.

Yes, Kristin/ID is fun, but her onscreen counterparts suck most of the fun out of her deviousness.

Other than a scene or 2 a month, Nicole/AZ has been supremely wasted for awhile now. If I didn't like AZ so much, I'd stop watching DOOL all together honestly. I like KM/Abigail too, but these days, she seems to be relegated to being a crutch for her mom.
