Hawaii Five Owen Knight

I have a confession. I really enjoyed The Bold and the Beautiful's Hawaii storyline last week. It was cheesetastic and filled with humor, but unlike some of the Pam and Donna hijinks it actually seemed to work.

Are you enjoying the Hawaii storyline?

Yes! It has been great.

Why wouldn't a smart woman like Jackie just get a pre-nuptial agreement or post-nuptial agreement to protect her assets? Doesn't that make sense?

Yes, it makes sense, especially since Jackie already alluded to this in her conversations with Nick. She never used the words pre-nup, but she said something about her not being stupid enough to think that she didn't have to protect her assets. But in typical soap fashion, she just plain let this slip by when Owen charmed her into this sudden beachside wedding.

And one would think that she already would have had her lawyer working on a pre-nup as soon as she accepted Owen's proposal, so the sudden wedding isn't even an excuse. She could have called her lawyer to fax the pre-nup to the hotel and then had the signature witnessed by someone local.

Even so, I'm willing to give them a pass on this since the story itself opens up lots of possibilities down the road.
