GH Spoilers

Here’s the Scoop!

If you follow me on Twitter, I’ve tweeted a couple episodes of General Hospital as well as some primetime shows. GH has been fantastic, so most of my tweets were positive although, you all know me by now ,and know that a little sarcasm must come out!

For example, when Michael and Sonny were returning to Greystone, I tweeted: Awwww... father-son convo on how it'll feel a few days after your first kill. When GH dropped the obvious ball and left Lulu in her wet clothes in the ER I asked: Shouldn't they take Lulu out of her wet clothes? I mean I’m no M.D., but I would think the first thing would be to get the patient out of her very wet and cold threads. Right? Carly’s truth-telling to Jax was a shock that earned: WOW Carly is telling Jax the truth? That's a twist. I kinda like it. Carly rarely tells the truth and when she does, it must be noted. Plus, major KUDOS to Laura Wright who turned in another fine performance. I actually felt Carly's anguish over what telling the truth meant for Michael. READ MORE

He might be playing Jason Morgan's (Steve Burton) "worst nightmare", but something tells me film star James Franco is going to be Sam McCall's (Kelly Monaco) wet dream! Check out this glimpse of Franco on General Hospital. CBS and NBC Daytime better start stepping up their A-Game...

Here’s the Scoop!

I’m finally getting back into my normal routine and it feels pretty darn good to say that I’ve watched GH all week! I know it’s not like I split the atom or anything but with GH being pretty good and me back into the swing of things (mostly) it’s HUGE in my world.

Can you believe it… I’m enjoying General Hospital. Prior to my “leave of absence” I had been pretty down on the Port Chuckles crew but lately it’s been great. Yesterday’s episode must have broken the bank with the everyone who got a little face time. What has me back on the GH bandwagon? Dante! I’m a little scared that they’re using him a tad bit too much but the scenes with Lulu have been awesome and Zamprogna himself is quite impressive. GH has one thing down pat, fantastic casting.

Has any character’s demise had as much anticipation as Claudia’s? We all love Sarah Brown and she has really been knocking it out of the park in her final episodes. While I’m sad to see Brown exit, Claudia has never been a favorite of mine and I blame that all on her horrible introduction. Yep, for the last almost two years, I’ve hated the character all due to her introduction. READ MORE

What a way to kick off October! James Franco as the newest PC resident, Sarah Brown leaves GH for B&B and Jonathan Jackson is returning as Lucky Spencer. The twitterverse erupted overnight with buzz regarding A-list film actor James Franco (Spider Man, Milk) possibly heading to General Hospital. The pandamonium occured when The Biggest Loser's Jillian Michaels told followers on her page about her dinner date with best pal Vanessa Marcil, tweeting,

 

She said James Franco is doing 2 months on the show and she would consider going back for that time to work with him.

Here’s the Scoop! 09.30.09

Hi guys! Had a blast in Vegas, won some money and most importantly got to relax. Relax? In Vegas? I know crazy right? I never said I was a party animal. Thanks for all the birthday wishes.

Claudia, Claudia, Claudia… exiting and still creating some drama. She figures out that Dominic is Olivia’s son and threatens to tell all unless Olivia ends things with Johnny. How convenient for a possible Sonny-Olivia pairing once Claudia does exit stage left. Olivia does end things with her younger lover much to Johnny’s dismay. Claudia tries to get into Dante’s pants and tells him she knows who is mommy is. Will Lulu catch a glimpse of the seduction?

Speaking of men with a badge… Now that Jonathan Jackson is returning can anyone buy Lucky Spencer as a cop? Well peeps, that was the old Lucky and since Jackson left, the character has changed. Who wouldn’t love to see Domte and Lucky as PCPD’s newest cop duo? Luke and Sonny’s sons on the opposite side of the law from their dear old dads… could be interesting, IF they go that route. Somebody get my SMELLING SALTS! A setside mole just informed me Jonathan Jackson is set to return to General Hospital in his signature role as Lucas Lorenzo Spencer Jr., aka LUCKY! The source says the announcement will be made shortly! NOW IT'S A MOTHER FREAKING BALL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some quick hits on what’s coming up on GH. Here’s the Scoop! 09.23.09

More Mac? I always love it when John J. York gets a little more screen time. Of course with the Spixie almost nuptials he’ll be on and it looks like Maxie’s dad finally accepts Spinelli. He’s even impressed with the mob employee for realizing marriage isn’t the only answer for him and Maxie. But will Mac get a little storyline all of his own? It COULD be some very wishful thinking on the fan’s part but there are RUMORS that Mac helps Alexis get her job back as the DA and that this MAY lead to a possible romance for the pair.

I’m still not a fan of Nikolas and Elizabeth. I’m not sure why, it just doesn’t seem to work for me but there is more coming. Will they get caught? Elizabeth doesn’t want to hurt Lucky again and despite feeling he can finally move on, Nikolas knows Elizabeth is the one girl he can’t have. READ MORE

Finally caught up on this week’s GH… all I can say is life is still getting in the way of my soaps! Well at least I’m current with GH, I’m still 16 episodes in the hole with OLTL. Before the scoop, how about a little commentary? Production wise, the carnival looks beautiful. I DVR in HD and I must say, this is the best the show has looked. I recognize the improvements that occurred when it first went HD however, IMO, the carnival has been beautifully filmed. Now, the actual story, while I like it, I’m not as over the moon with it as some of you are. Let me explain. I love full cast integration, which is what gets me sucked into these storylines in the first place. Well that and the well placed montage with well picked tunes to accompany said montage. While two montages seem a little overdone, especially back to back, I did like the pseudo explanation of how everyone ended up were they did. Of course, my critical eye spotted a few holes. Here’s the Scoop! 09.08.09

Everyone ready for the carnival madness? Wait, it’s happening east coast time as I type. Say buh-bye to Andrea Floyd as the mayor’s wife has no one but herself to blame for her demise. What about Jake? He’s hurt and mommy’s so relieved to see Uncle Nik she plants a big fat kiss on him. Kristina? Where did she go? Finally gets a few scenes with her pops and she vanishes. Will Michael ride into the rescue? What does Kiefer have to do with the missing Kristina?

Morgan is ok thanks to his brother from yet another mother. Will that bro need some medical assistance of the DNA kind? SPOILERS say Olivia is relieved when Dante doesn’t need a transplant but is her secret already out? Speaking of secrets… will Michael remember his comatose days? Will Jax burst Claudia’s bubble, finally? Will Michael start playing some games of his own with step daddy dearest?

Who else is getting their kiss on? Sonny and Olivia! I can’t decide if I like these two together or not. Some ASSUME a Sonny – Olivia hook up means Sarah Brown is exiting when her time is up. Beware of the fortune teller! Jax and Carly both get some frightening news. Edward is A-OK. Dante pulls through. RUMOR has it one of Molly’s friends dies at the carnival. READ MORE
