Billy Magnussen Debuts as Sigourney Weaver’s Boy Toy in 'Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike'

Have you missed seeing Billy Magnussen (pictured above with co-star David Hyde Pierce) and his ripped body since As the World Turns ended its run? If so, now is your chance to see him strip to his skivvies once again during the run of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre.

Magnussen plays Masha’s (Sigourney Weaver) boy toy Spike, who has a propensity for abandoning most of his clothes, in the play that opened November 12.

Theater Mania weighed in on Magnussen’s role,

Life gets temporarily upended when Masha unexpectedly shows up one day – with decades-younger boy-toy Spike in tow (the extraordinarily fit and often semi-dressed Billy Magnussen). She has returned ostensibly to attend a neighbor's costume ball, but also to deliver the shocking news that she has decided to sell the family homestead in order to cut down on her own expenses.

As The World Turns alum Michael Park continues to make his mark on the Great White Way. Broadway.com is reporting Park will play Gooper in the upcoming revival of Tennessee Williams' classic drama Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.

Michael Park and John Stamos Among Actors Doing Reading of SOAPDISH: The Musical




Soap alums Michael Park (ex-Jack, ATWT) and John Stamos (ex-Blackie, GH) are just a few of the actors who participated in a new reading of SOAPDISH the Musical. According to BroadwayWorld.com, Stamos and Park read alongside Kristen Chenoweth, Jane Krakowski, Miriam ShorCristin MiliotiAnne L. Nathan, and Daniel Torres. Donald De Line, Laurence Mark and Broadway Across America presented the reading of the musical, based on the hit 1991 feature film set in the behind-the-scenes world of a daytime drama.
