Tormented genius Nick Fallon was shot through the heart on NBC's Days of Our Lives. Now everyone wants to know who's to blame! On today's Daytime Confidential podcast, Jamey Giddens and Luke Kerr welcome Blake Berris.

Jamey wastes no time before asking Berris if his diabolical character is really "dead-dead" this time. The guys then plunge right into a discussion about the controversial storylines Berris played out as Nick during his most recent DAYS stint — from gay bashing WilSon, to trying to rape Gabi, to almost being drowned by a trio of female avengers.

The talented actor updates DC on his plans beyond daytime. Will there be more writing and independent film in his future? You'll have to download the podcast to find out!

Berris also gets real about what it was like to go head-to-head with the Days of Our Lives "establishment", aka Alison Sweeney (Sami) and James Scott (EJ), in scenes. All this and more in this juicy podcast!

Can Hope Brady Catch Her Cousin Nick’s Killer on Days of Our Lives? (PROMO)

It's about time Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) got a meaty case to solve on Days of Our Lives. Not that watching her plan endless church events with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) hasn't been simply riveting, but the Fancy Face I know and love is a crimefighter, not a fundraiser!

Unfortunately for Hope, her new case hits powerfully close to home. Someone gunned down Horton family bad seed Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) in the park, right outside of Horton Square.

With several of their relatives as suspects, can Hope and Roman (Josh Taylor) find out who killed the young man, without sending a loved one to prison? Watch this week's DAYS promo after the jump!

20 Soap Opera Characters Who Would Feel Right at Home on Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is one of the most buzzed about series on television. Filled with barbaric battles, epic betrayals, palace intrigue and romance it has all the drama a soap fan could ask for. Here's a crash course comparison of our favorite daytime soap characters and their Westeros equivalents.

Love to Hate: King Joffrey Baratheon, Game of Thrones / Nick Fallon, Days of Our Lives

Game of Thrones fans cheered Joffrey Baratheon's death, because of his countless evil deeds, and in no small part, Jack Gleeson's fantastic portrayal of the sadistic character. Though he isn't dead—not for a lack of trying on the parts of some Salem residents—the same can be said for Days of Our Lives' Nick Fallon.

Blake Berris has masterfully developed the Horton legacy character into a multifaceted villain. While I sincerely hope Nick isn't poisoned, like Joffrey, I emphatically want him to pay, and pay dearly.
