Days of Our Lives Grad Charlotte Ross: “I’ve Played Many Variations of Eve Donovan”

Isn't it nice when a successful primetime actress isn't afraid to bring up her soapy roots? In an interview promoting her upcoming VH1 drama Hit The Floor, Days of Our Lives alum Charlotte Ross recalls playing Shane Donovan's (Charles Shaughnessy) malevolent daughter Eve, a part she had from 1987-1991. Said Ross:

"I gravitate to strong women roles," said Ross, 45. "I've played many variations of Eve Donovan. I love to play a little darker, de-glammed roles."

In Hit The Floor (premiering May 27 at 8 and 10 pm EST), Ross plays Olivia Vincent, the take-no-prisoners squad director for the Devil Girls, a dance squad for an NBA team in Los Angeles. Watch the trailer after the jump!
