Corbin Bernsen Reflects on Mom Jeanne Cooper’s Death One Year Later

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since we lost "The Duchess". Corbin Bernsen, son of the late Jeanne Cooper, is reprising the role of Father Todd Williams next month on CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless.

The actor sat down for a moving interview with TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan, previewing his June 19 return engagement to the soap and reflecting on the legacy of Cooper and the unforgettable Katherine Chancellor. Here's an excerpt:

The late Jeanne Cooper's real-life son and her scene partner for over a quarter of a century will present the "In Memoriam" segment during the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. A spokesperson for the telecast has confirmed The Young and the Restless' Corbin Bersen and Jess Walton will introduce the segment. Genoa City's generation next, Bryton James, Max Ehrich and Hunter King, will also present during the awards show.
