NBC Releases State of Affairs, Bad Judge and The Mysteries of Laura Trailers

The Peacock Network has three new series to promote this fall anchored by fan favorites. State of Affairs stars former Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl as CIA agent Charlie Tucker and ex-Desperate Housewives star Alfre Woodward as President Roberta Payton.

Agent Tucker is the head of the department that compiles and provides the daily threat assessment to the president. I know Heigl hate runs deep in some parts of the Internet, but I'll be giving it a try.

Former Private Practice lead Kate Walsh returns to broadcast television as an unorthodox justice seeker in the comedy Bad Judge. Based on the trailer, Walsh is having fun exploring the comedic side of television.

Debra Messing returns to NBC in Greg Berlanti's The Mysteries of Laura. The Will & Grace alum stars as Detective Laura Diamond, who must balance family and crimefighting.

Blake Berris Cast in “Starter Wife”

TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is reporting in his latest Suds Report that Days of Our Lives' star Blake Berris has been cast in a recurring role on USA Network's The Starter Wife.

The Starter Wife started out as a miniseries on USA which is owned by NBC Universal the parent company of NBC. However, after debuting to great ratings and sustaining them through it's run the show was picked up as a series and returns to the cable network later this year.

Congrats to Blake!
