Lifetime Releases Soaptastic Trailer for Flowers in the Attic Sequel! (VIDEO)

 
Lifetime’s first trailer for Petals on the Wind, the salacious Flowers in the Attic sequel, has been released via Entertainment Weekly
 
Much like the first installment, the promo begins with an eerie cover of a classic song, this time accompanied by clips from FITA.  Then, new footage is revealed.  It sees the Dollanganger kids, and their insane mother and grandma, in the 1970's dealing with the aftermath of what transpired in the attic. 

Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic Sequel Finds New Cathy

 
Rose McIver, who’s recently been seen on Masters of Sex, and as Tinker Bell on Once Upon a Time, will replace Kiernan Shipka in Lifetime’s Petals on the Wind. She’ll play the adult Cathy, who’s involved romantically with her brother, and intent on revenge against the mother and grandmother who imprisoned them for years. 

Over 6 Million Tune in to Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic


The TV movie version of V.C. Andrews' 1979 novel, Flowers in the Attic, saw 6.1 million viewers tune in to Lifetime. Additionally, it drew about 2.4 million in the always key 18-49 demographic for its initial Saturday at 8 pm premiere. According to Lifetime, it was the channel’s most-watched original film since November 2012.
