James Franco on Instagram Drama With Teen Fan: “I Feel Awkward.” (VIDEO)

James Franco finds himself in the middle of yet another scandal. Earlier this week, the actor allegedly tried picking up a 17-year-old fan via Instagram.

There has been speculation the incident was an elaborate hoax to promote Franco's upcoming movie Palo Alto. In the flick, the star plays a soccer coach who becomes involved with a teenage student.

On Friday, Franco made an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael and gave a mea culpa.  “I feel awkward. I guess I’m embarrassed and I guess I’m just a model of how social media’s tricky,” said Franco.
