Kerry Washington on Scandal’s Season 3 Finale: “A Definite Game-Changer”

Election Day madness is upon us tonight on the season finale of ABC's Scandal. Last episode, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) learned Sally Langston (Kate Burton), Leo (Paul Adelstein) and Andrew (Jon Tenney), are all at a funeral. Did I forget to mention a ticking bomb is the guest of honor, courtesy of Maya (Khandi Alexander)?

What exactly can "Gladiators" expect when the bomb goes off? Olivia Pope herself, Kerry Washington, dished to The Hollywood Reporter. Here's an excerpt:
THR: Sally, Andrew, Leo and more are all at the senator's funeral. How deadly can we expect the explosion to be and how will it impact the election?

Washington: The explosion has huge impact on the election, but I can't say more than that. It's a definite game-changer.

General Hospital's nastiest villain, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) has been obsessed with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since she was a little girl. In the 90's, the DVX operative terrorized Anna, her sometimes husband Robert (Tristan Rogers) and their World Security Bureau pals Sean Donely (John Reilly) and Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner).

He also targeted Frisco's beloved Aztec Princess Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Robert and Anna's daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and her extraterrestrial pal Casey (Bradley Lockerman) from the Planet Lumina!

Here We Go! I've been waiting for this all summer.

We start with a slew of reports of Olivia Pope being outed as Fitz's mistress. We flash between The White House and OPA. OPA seems to be doing damage control. They are unplugging the phones and locking the doors.

Rowan and Olivia are in the car. He makes a crack about her being quiet and wishing she should have been as a child. They go to an airport hanger and Rowan reads Olivia for filth. He goes on about The White House not protecting her when this comes out, and her believing Fitz loved her.

Oh My God! Rowan just reduced Olivia to the Pope to a small child. I don't even know what's happening. This is insanity. He forced Olivia to say she has to be "Twice as Strong". Rowan has a whole plan for Olivia to go away for good until he can get things back together.
