Matthew Goode Upped to Regular on The Good Wife

 
Although it was previously announced Matthew Goode would recur on The Good Wife, E! News is now reporting the actor has been promoted to series regular on the hit CBS drama. 
 
As State’s Attorney Finn Polmar, Goode made a memorable debut in last week’s “Dramatics, Your Honor.” This saw him playfully spar with Will (Josh Charles) in the courtroom, before he tried to help Will survive a shocking shooting.

The Good Wife
doesn’t return with new episodes until 2014. Since the CBS drama has been so spectacular this season, the wait is going to be especially tough.  However, if awesome news like this keeps coming out, the wait just might be bearable. 
 
TVLine is reporting Matthew Goode will be joining the cast in a recurring role.  The Brit thesp will play a prosecutor who becomes friends with Alicia (Julianna Margulies). This happens right after he suffers a crisis of faith and decides to follow a new career path.
