Signy Coleman and Raya Meddine Return to The Young and the Restless For Holiday Episode

It’s been a while since The Young and the Restless fans watched Signy Coleman and Raya Meddine on their TV screens. That’s about to change. On December 23, the actresses will reprise their roles as Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) dearly departed wives Hope and Sabrina. According to Entertainment Weekly, Hope and Sabrina will appear as spirits to Victor in a special A Christmas Carol-inspired episode.

Y&R Alum Raya Meddine Talks “Dream” Role in Sex and the City 2

She may no longer be donning purple dresses to spook Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) on The Young and the Restless, but Raya Meddine (ex-Sabrina) is still participating in projects where the clothes definitely make the woman. Meddine portrays Aneesha in the most anticipated movie sequel of the year, Sex and the City 2, premiering this Friday, May 28. In the latest issue of CBS Soaps In Depth, on newstands now, the exotic beauty dished about her role, what a "dream" Sarah Jessica Parker and Co. were to work with and the mad respect she has for writer-director Michael Patrick King.

"To say that I was a fan of the TV series is a major understatement. They were all a dream to work with—so humble, kind and down-to-earth. The director, Michael Patrick King, is a genius and a beautiful human being. Shooting overseas with them was a dream come true."

Heeeeeere’s Abby?

Say hello to the NuAbby Carlton. Sources have told me that The Young and the Restless, has hired on Hayley Erin to play the role of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Brad Carlton's (Don Diamont) little girl. The last time the youngster was seen was back in June when she came for her biological father Victor's (Eric Braeden) wedding to the late Sabrina Costelana (Raya Meddine), and was being played by Darcy Rose Byrnes (Kiki; Dirty Sexy Money). No word when she will head to town. Keep checking Daytime Confidential for the news of Erin's first official air date.
