Rebecca Budig on Life in CT And Why She Stopped Watching All My Children

After playing heiress Greenlee Smythe for the better part of a decade, it's no surprise All My Children alum Rebecca Budig is right at home with the Town and Country set. The co-host of Hallmark Channel's The Better Show was interviewed by journalist and Harlequin editorial team member Carly Silver for Upper East Side Magazine.

In the piece, Budig dished on her new life in Weston, CT. with Time Warner exec hubby Michael Benson.
"Weston is amazing." she says. We love it."

Rebecca Budig Never Heard Back From Prospect Park on All My Children Reboot!

Might Greenlee Smythe have popped back up in Pine Valley in 2013? TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan caught up with Rebecca Budig, who is busy co-hosting The Better Show and guest-starring on primetime hits like Blue Bloods. Would the actress and TV personality have appeared on the short-lived All My Children reboot?

TV Guide Magazine: Now that's the Greenlee we remember! Why didn't we see you on the AMC reboot? Were you asked?

Budig: Yes, and I expressed interest and then they never came back to me! [Laughs] I wasn't insulted at all but I was a little disappointed. I really, really miss Greenlee. But, then, none of my men were there. They didn't have Cameron Mathison. They were never going to get Josh Duhamel. What they should have done was bring back Danny Cosgrove, who is amazing. Love that guy! Michael B. Jordan was my brother on AMC and now he's a big movie star. So what were they gonna do with me? I'd be all alone!
