Skating With the Stars Boots Sean Young; Can Budig Win it All?

Going into Skating With The Stars Sean Young thought her opponents should be intimidated by her. Unfortunately, the show’s judges were not. The film actress and former The Young and the Restless star got the boot after falling twice during her second week performance. After getting iced, Young told Zap2it backstage "Mostly I'm disappointed because I felt like maybe I disappointed my partner because he worked really hard with me."

Sean Young on Dancing Competition: “If I Were Them, I’d Be Intimidated by Me”

Gotta love this promo for ABC’s upcoming Skating With The Stars. My favorite line comes from The Young and the Restless’ Sean Young who tells the camera “If I were them, I’d be intimidated by me.” (Editor's Note: Jesus take the Wheel.) Isn’t that a line that the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) should be delivering? Watch the Skating With The Stars promo after the jump!

Y&R’s Sean Young: “Eric’s Always Been In My Corner”

Film actress Sean Young visited with TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan about her upcoming The Young and the Restless character, working with Eric Braeden and how Hollywood’s leading men don’t look out for actresses the way they used to.
Was this a specific role at Y&R you wanted or a general look-see?

I don’t remember. I just know I was boohooing because Karen Rea wasn’t there anymore. I was mighty pissed. I’m friends with Eric. I went to him and said, “Please do something!” And then when this role came up they saw me.

So you got the part without an audition?

Yes. I’m at the point in this profession where people know who I am. You know if I’m right for a part or not. And Eric’s always been in my corner. I think the moment he completely decided he liked me was when we were farting around on the set of The Man Who Came Back in Texas. Eric kicked a soccer ball to me and I head-butted it right back at him. It was just a lucky moment, but he was very impressed. His mouth dropped and he was, like, “Oh, my God!”

Film Star Sean Young Joins Y&R!

Another movie star is hitting the soap screen! Sean Young–who has starred in such films as Blade Runner, Wall Street and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective–just signed on for a short story arc on The Young and the Restless opposite Eric Braeden. Young told,
“Getting the chance to work with my dear friend Eric Braeden, one of the true gentlemen in entertainment, was certainly a deciding factor for me,” Young, 50, says, “as well as wanting to get back to work after taking a few years off to raise my kids.”

The pair have shared the screen before in The Man Who Came Back.  Taping begins in May for the film star as a " a sultry barmaid who gets tied up in a mystery with business tycoon Victor Newman."
