Is Star Jones Heading Back to Daytime Television?

Could Star Jones be making her way back to daytime? According to Deadline, the former co-host of ABC's The View is working on a new legal themed talk show.

Jones has allegedly already started filming segments for the venture, which would have her as one of five panelists. Reportedly, Debmar-Mercury and E.W. Scripps are in talks to team up on the syndicated project. Jones opened up to FishbowlNY about the project, stating:

I can’t say much, but I can tell you exclusively I shot the pilot on Sunday and it’s multi-host – the opportunity came to me when I was in the middle of a million things — and I’m more excited about this than I’ve been in long time. It’s right in my wheel house.

Will Joy Behar Spill The View’s Tea in a Standup Comedy Act?

Oh this could be delicious. According to New York Daily News, Joy Behar is working on a no holds barred standup comedy act about her years on The View and isn’t afraid to spill the proverbial tea.
“Joy knows everything, she’s lasted this whole time,” says our source. “She knows why Debbie Matenopoulos was fired, the truth about Star Jones’ marriage, and the time Star [supposedly] tackled her to the ground when Joy tried to take a photograph of her on her wedding day.” (Star magazine had bought exclusive rights to the event.)

“She knows which host had trouble borrowing clothes for the show because they often returned them soiled,” says the source. “And then there is the whole Rosie O’Donnell drama, not to mention working with Barbara.”

Olivia and Fitz Alert: Scandal’s Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn to Appear on The View Today!

The hottest scripted couple in primetime will be joining the ladies of The View today. Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn, who play forbidden lovers Olivia Pope and President Fitzgerald Grant III on Shonda Rhimes' hit ABC sudser Scandal, are scheduled to appear.

I wonder if the co-hosts will ask the stars about former The View nightmare Star Jones acting a plum fool on Twitter with Shonda Rhimes and fans over Olivia being in love with the married POTUS, when she could be with the Senate Majority Leader dude? Lord knows I jokingly take a few Twitter swipes at Scandal, but someone should tell Starlet it's a soap opera and to have several seats. Watch the promo for today's episode of The View after the jump!
