INTERVIEW: John-Paul Lavoisier on Beacon Hill, Spending Time With Tuc Watkins’ Twins and Missing OLTL

One Life to Live's resident bad boy is back! John-Paul Lavoisier (ex-Rex Balsom) is making a return to soapdom in the highly-anticipated web sudser Beacon Hill. I caught up with the sexy actor, who revealed what he's been up to since saying goodbye to Llanview. He also provided insight into his new character, political heir Eric Preston.

Daytime Confidential: We haven’t seen you around in a while. What have you been up to since One Life to Live ended it’s run on ABC?

John-Paul Lavoisier: Since OLTL, I've been busy with babies! Really. My friend Tuc [Watkins] had twins last year, a boy and a girl, and I spend almost everyday with them. They're great. Tuc and I also do a really great 100 minute workout at Runyon Canyon called "The Full Dolores" three times a week. We have T-shirts. You get one once you complete "her."

Wishful Casting: Tuc Watkins and Josh Kelly as Phillip III and Chance on The Young and the Restless

With One Life to Live "shelved", several of the soap's biggest stars are likely looking for work. While I don't think any of the existing network daytime suds should go on a casting spree akin to Maria Arena Bell flying low over the carcasses of the ABC Daytime version of All My Children a few years back, I do think several suds roles could be smartly filled with OLTL vets. For starters, imagine the hilarious dose of brazen sexuality and bon vivant energy Tuc Watkins would inject into the role of Phillip Chancellor III on The Young and the Restless.

One Life to Live Stars Sit Down With Larry King (VIDEO)

One Life to Live’s Erika Slezak, Robin Strasser, Melissa Archer, Corbin Bleu and Tuc Watkins sat down with Larry King on his web show, Larry King Now. King admitted to Slezak and Strasser that One Life to Live was his mother’s favorite soap.

Slezak and Strasser discussed ABC’s cancellation of OLTL and Prospect Park’s revival of the long-running drama. Watch the episode after the jump!

Is Dani Falling for Arturo on One Life to Live?

Dorian (Robin Strasser) threw David’s (Tuc Watkins) clothes into the foyer. Meanwhile, Matthew (Robert Gorrie) and Michelle (Amber Skye Noyes) spent more time in bed this week on One Life to Live.

After tearing up the sheets with Michelle, Matthew went to the office. There he found Clint (Jerry verDorn) in pretty bad shape over what had transpired with Viki (Erika Slezak). Matthew told his uncle he needed to get ready for a Man of the Year photo shoot.

Forget The NSA or PRISM, Todd is Watching Llanview on One Life to Live

Matthew (Robert Gorrie) dropped by Bo (Robert S. Woods) and Nora’s (Hillary B. Smith) with his laundry, and to share a meal. What he didn’t realize is the meal was a set up for him to spend time with Destiny (Laura Harrier). Matthew didn’t seem too happy when Destiny showed up at the door. The two started arguing about Drew.

Matthew called David (Tuc Watkins) to come by as reinforcements. David didn’t want to, because he was going to show Dorian (Robin Strasser) moves “he learned on the internet.” When he hung up with Matthew, David asked Dorian to come with him. All of a sudden, the family dinner got a whole lot bigger.

Why did I feel bad for Matthew? He’s a deadbeat dad, but yet, I still felt empathy for the situation his parents keep putting him in.

Todd (Roger Howarth) dropped by Shelter to visit Blair (Kassie DePaiva), who didn’t have time for him. However, he insisted he had something he needed to show her.
