Switched at Birth and The Fosters Return Jan. 13

Switched at Birth and The Fosters are set to debut their new seasons on Monday, Jan. 13. Both ABC Family soaps deal with nontraditional blended families, and the ties that bind families will still be the most important thing when the programs return for their winter season.

Young and Restless Alum Vanessa Marano is Like a ‘Restless Virgin’

Vanessa Marano may no longer appear on CBS Daytime's top soap, but the Switched at Birth star is still young and restless! Marano headlines Lifetime’s upcoming film Restless Virgins. The flick is centered on a sex tape scandal, which rocks an elite prep school.

Marano plays Emily, a prep school reporter who stumbles across a sex tape made by five senior members of the lacrosse team. The film also stars Desperate Housewives alum Charlie Carver and Timothy Busfield. Watch a preview for Restless Virgins after the jump!

Extended Trailer For Scoundrels, Featuring AMC’s Leven Rambin and Y&R’s Vanessa Marano!

Two former daytime ingenues are teaming up to play a pair of bickering, thieving sisters this summer on ABC primetime. Leven Rambin (ex-Lily, All My Children) and Vanessa Marano (ex-Eden, The Young and the Restless) will both be featured as part of the ensemble drama Scoundrels.

Rambin plays the role of Heather West, a blonde bombshell who uses sex as a weapon, while Marano plays Heather's snarky, younger sister Hope. Virginia Madsen (Sideways) and JAG's David James Elliot headline the series, as Cheryl and Wolf West, the girls parents, a couple who believes a family who commits felonies together, stays together.

When Wolf is sent up for five years, Cheryl decides it's time her family (which also includes twin sons Logan and Calvin West played by Patrick Flueger in a dual role) went straight. Too bad her kids aren't feeling that decision. Scoundrels is a remake of the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune.  It premieres June 20 at 9/8c on ABC.  Check out an extended trailer after the jump!
