Tika Sumpter, Victoria Rowell, Vivica A. Fox and Bobbi Kristina Brown “Sparkle” at Film’s Premiere!

Black Hollywood was out in full force at the premiere of One Life to Live alum Tika Sumpter's new movie Sparkle on Thursday night! Soap alums Cicely Tyson (Guiding Light), Victoria Rowell (The Young and the Restless), Vivica A. Fox (Generations, The Young and the Restless) and Elise Neal (Loving) were on hand, as was Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late Whitney Houston, who walked the red carpet with Nick Gordon.

The memory of Brown's deceased mother was ever present. Houston played mom to the central, singing sisters in this her final film performance. Celebrities from Tyler Perry to Glee’s Amber Riley were also in attendance. See more red carpet photos from the premiere of Sparkle after the jump!

Vivica A. Fox to Star in Syndicated Sitcom Mr. Box Office

Vivica A. Fox has a new gig! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has joined the cast of the syndicated comedy Mr. Box Office. Reportedly, she will star opposite Bill Bellamy, Jon Lovitz, Gary Busey and Keshia Knight Pulliam.

Bieber Fever Hits Daytime!

Where was the hottest place to find former soap stars and current hosts of The Talk on February 9? The Los Angeles premiere of the Justin Bieber documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. From The Talks’ Holly Robinson Peete (pictured above with husband Rodney Peete and their children) to former Days of Our Lives star Taylor Spreilter, the premiere party was quite the draw. See more photos of current and former daytime stars after the jump, and be sure to check out more Justin Bieber: Never Say Never premiere photos on Pop Confidential.

Will Vivica A. Fox Qualify For a Home Loan?!

With Ugly Betty going to the Great Soap Opera Museum in the Sky, and therefore the bitchtastic Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams)  leaving our screens, not to mention Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) still at the bottom of some cliff being "sassy" on The Young and the Restless, the television landscape suddenly finds itself severely lacking in chocolate divaliciousness. This is why it's high time a superstar from the big and small screen like Vivica A. Fox is back on the boob tube in a lead role.

With BET finally testing the scripted waters again, wouldn't it be awesome if the cabler greenlit a Starter Life-esque dramedy featuring Fox's pseudo-fictional escapades as Black Hollywood royalty? A blogger can dream, can't he? Need more convincing? Check out Fox's crazy, sexy, hilarious webisode for Experian titled Home, A Loan.
