GL's Michael O'Leary and ATWT's Scott Bryce Team Up For Upcoming Soap Spoof

What would happen if As The World Turns' original Craig Montgomery and Guiding Light's goofy Dr. Rick Bauer teamed up for a comedy series spoofing soap operas? It looks like we're about to find out!
Scott Bryce and Michael O'Leary are currenty shopping the pilot episode of Steamboat, a comedy series about the last days of a soap opera. Directed by Bryce and written by O'Leary, Steamboat also stars O'Leary's former GL costars Beth Chamberlin (who is also serving as a story consultant), Kurt McKinney (Liam, Gotham), Justin Deas, Orlagh Cassidy and Bryce's ATWT costar Michael Park (Richard, Gotham).
The pilot eppy of Steamboat was shot at Palace Digital Studios in South Norwalk, CT. Hmm, how much y'all wanna bet we will see some of Chamberlin's Kettlebells as product placement? For more info on this new venture, check out Steamboat's Facebook page.

Y&R's Christian LeBlanc to Have "Secret Life" Revealed

What, no James Franco? The Young and the Restless star Christian LeBlanc (Michael) is about to have his "secret life" revealed in the Big Easy. The Jean Bragg Gallery of Southern Art in New Orleans will host an evening featuring the multple Daytime Emmy winner's art work, entitled The Secret Life of Y&R Star Christian LeBlanc on Sat. March 6. The Creole soap hunk's event wlll be held from 6pm to 9pm at 600 Julia Street in NOLA. For more information click here.

Mick and crew: Paul and Emily have Mick arrested. Mick claims that he is James. Susan deduces that Alison slept with Mick and Alison seeks him out when he is moved to the hospital. Mick overpowers a policeman and tells Alison he wants her to escape with him. Later, Mick explains how it is possible that he can make his claims. Paul grabs a gun and goes on a manhunt for Mick. Emily realizes that if Mick is a fraud, then she will never have a baby.
Carly/Jack/Liberty: The search is on for a bone marrow donor despite the fact that Liberty is beginning her chemotherapy treatments. Teri spies a close moment between Dusty and Janet, which leads to a confrontation. Jack and Carly discover that Parker is skipping school and try to find him. When they do, they discover him in bed with Liberty. Jack and Carly kiss and once again, she tells Jack that he needs to back off.
James Romanovich Reveals TV Offer for 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Telecast

On today's show one of the main characters realizes he or she is being cheated on in the middle of the meeting, another announces an unexpected pregnancy, yet another says they want to start a family and one half of a couple wants to move outside of the country for work. According to the good people over at ABC Soaps In Depth, Stuart Damon (ex- Alan GH; ex-Ralph ATWT) will make his way to Days of Our Lives. No word on what role he will be playing, or how long his stint will be for.
