Contrary to popular belief, and of course what we see playing out on our screens, Days of Our Lives' hearthrob Shawn Christian insists to Michael Fairman his randy character Dr. Daniel Jonas was not in fact the inspiration for Britney Spears' "Womanizer".
Michael Fairman: How do you justify Daniel’s motivations? Is he truly still a “womanizer”?Shawn Christian: Well, now I think he is more surprised that he is so taken with this woman, Chloe. So, no, I don’t see him as a womanizer and I never really did. What I do see is someone who lives life to the fullest. If he has feelings he will go with them, fortunately or unfortunately, without regards to the consequences. But, that’s how he lives his life, and unfortunately some people got wounded. In a "Top 5 Days of Our Lives Characters" podcast episode we just recorded (it will air as soon as I can edit it), Jillian suggested that a Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Daniel (Shawn Christian) pairing would be "hot." Jamey then agreed that they would "drop it like it's hot" and make him "reconsider" his Bope love, if it got Hope out of the idiotic "Bo The Psychic" storyline.

The word from a recent Shawn Christian (Daniel) fan event is that daytime's randiest doctor will be sticking around Salem to bed more grandmothers, granddaughters and Great Aunt Fern's. Christian reportedly told fans he re-signed his contract with Days of Our Rotten Storylines. On a side note, did you see Lucas literally explode today?
"Well he was drunk enough to be flammable!" DC's own Nicki quipped when asked what she thought about the story stinker.
Poor Christian, Bryan Datillo and Nadia Bjorlin, these sexy actors deserve so much better, but then so did Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Thaao Penghlis, Leanne Hunley, Blake Berris and most importantly, we the viewers. READ MORE

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) tells Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) that Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is cheating on him with Dr. Daniel (Shawn Christian) behind his back and Lucas blows up an apartment door? Either this is the most leading promo ever or the show is sending Lucas off the deep end.
On a NBC related topic: When looking at NBC's sinking ratings in daytime and primetime has anyone considered that the thing connecting all these shows is the Heroes voice over guy? He was cool on Heroes, but now he seems to be doing every promo NBC has and he's found his way into doing NBC Universal movie trailer voice overs.
