BREAKING NEWS: Scott Clifton Wins Outstanding Younger Actor

The Bold and the Beautiful's Scott Clifton took the prize for Outstanding Younger Actor. This is Clifton's first win; he has spent time on both General Hospital and One Life to Live. Scott Clifton has been nominated in the Younger Actor category a total of five times!

BREAKING NEWS: Brittany Allen Wins Outstanding Younger Actress

Brittany Allen (ex-Marissa, All My Children) took home the gold for Outstanding Younger Actress! It is definately the upset of the night, so far.  Allen was replaced on AMC with former As the World Turns actress Sarah Glendening.

BREAKING NEWS: The Young and the Restless Wins Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team

Maria Arena Bell accepted the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team for The Young and the Restless at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Las Vegas on June 19. In her speech she thanked the fans and her wingmen Hogan Sheffer and Scott Hamner.  
It mark’s Y&R’s fifth win in the category.
