James Franco Says He Invented The Oscar Selfie, NOT Ellen! (VIDEO)

Did comedienne Ellen DeGeneres steal the Oscar selfie? According to former Academy Awards show host James Franco, she sure did!

Franco recently spoke with The Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie, alongside his Of Mice and Men Broadway co-stars. During the chat he joked about being the one to first do a selfie at the Oscars. Franco stated:

I took some videos and selfies at my Oscars and I got criticized for it. Now she's getting a lot of attention for hers. I don't get it.

Don't expect General Hospital head writer Ron Carlivati to shed a tear once Sean Kanan leaves. The scribe responded to Kanan's remarks to TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan on Twitter, saying:

There will be one less Quartermaine eating pizza at Thanksgiving this year. TV Guide Magazine's  Michael Logan is reporting Sean Kanan (AJ) is out at General Hospital.

Don't feel too sad, kids. The talented actor is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful to reprise the mega popular role of Deacon Sharpe! Here's an excerpt from Logan's exclusive with Kanan:

"I was utterly thrilled to be brought back to GH for the 50th anniversary and really enjoyed working with [executive producer] Frank Valentini, but I was not over the moon about the writing," Kanan says. "Doing stories about panic attacks and relish was not what I thought I'd signed up for. Nazanin Boniadi will return to Season 4 of Homeland as a series regular.  Last year, Boniadi recurred on the Showtime spy drama as a Far Sherazi, a CIA analyst with a vast knowledge of international banking.
