The Vampire Diaries may be suffering a creative slump, but its spinoff, The Originals is sinking its fangs into social media. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter and Listen First Media, The Originals is the No. 1 ranked new TV series on social media.

The Originals boasts an impressive 1.9 million fans across social media. Sleepy Hollow comes in a headless No. 2 with 821,650 fans on social media.

Melissa Fumero Readies For Brooklyn Nine-Nine at Fox Upfronts (PHOTOS)

One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (pictured above with Chelsea Peretti) stars opposite Andy Samberg, as Amy in Fox’s new comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Fumero was on hand to promote her new show at the Fox 2013 Upfront Presentation on May 13.

The event featured such familiar faces as Christopher Meloni and Greg Kinnear, who will star in Surviving Jack and Rake respectively.
