Following the success of Friday Night Lights on DirecTV a few years back, the satellite provider is jumping back into the scripted TV game. TVLine is reporting Guiding Light alum Frank Grillo will star in Navy St., a "gritty family drama" also set in the world of sports. TVLine's Michael Ausiello is reporting, sexy, silver screen star Ryan Phillippe has snagged a huge role in the final season of Damages. Phillippe's character is being called a "Julian Assange-type" who needs some help from vampy legal eagle Ellen (Rose Byrne).
