Justin Hartley on Revenge Character: "He Will Do Anything For His Mother"

Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) better watch her back. She just might have a new adversary to worry about when Revenge returns for Season 3 this Sept. 29.

Patrick Osbourne, the long-lost son of ice queen Victoria (Madeline Stowe), is headed for the Hamptons in the form of Passions alum Justin Hartley. Here's what the hunk revealed to TV Guide Magazine about Patrick:

Suffice it to say, he will do anything for his mother and may lash out if you mistreat Mommy.

Justin Hartley to Guest on Melissa & Joey

Former Passions star and upcoming Revenge transplant Justin Hartley has snagged a guest spot on ABC Family's smash comedy, Melissa & Joey. Hartley will play Noah, Mel's (Melissa Joan Hart) new boyfriend who temporarily shacks up with Mel and her family. His presence in the home causes their relationship to take an unexpected turn. Hartley's episode is slated to air Aug. 7.

Melissa & Joey airs Wednesdays at 8 PM EST on ABC Family.

Watch Justin Hartley in the Premiere of Emily Owens, M.D.!

The CW is hoping for some Grey’s Anatomy magic with the their new medical drama Emily Owens, M.D.  Starring Mamie Gummer as Emily Owens,  and former Passions and Smallville heartthrob Justin Hartley as Will Rider, Emily Owens, M.D. tells the story of a woman who discovers being an intern at a hospital isn’t much different than being in high school.

After his success as The Green Arrow on Smallville, I’d hoped Hartley would be the lead in Arrow. Since The CW decided to take the character in a different direction, Hartley lovers will have to watch him scrub in with Emily. Watch the premiere of Emily Owens, M.D. below!

11 New Soaps We Can't Wait to Lather Up With!

There may be less soap operas to watch in the daytime, but primetime and cable is about to spill over with frothy, new suds! Here's a list of 11 upcoming soaps that have us ready to do a little scrubbing!

No. 11:  Hollywood Heights, Nick-at-Night

You can bet displaced, former daytime soap opera professionals—not to mention the genre’s fans—will be paying close attention to the success or failure of Hollywood Heights this summer. If HH proves to be a hit, it could lead to a slew of similar five-day-a-week, English-launguage sudsers!

Nick-at-Nite's attempt to create, produce and market a daily soap opera at night has a lot of sudsy cred. The series is based on a telenova and is written and produced by former daytimers Josh Griffith and Jill Farren Phelps. Several daytime actors are also in the cast, including One Life to Live alum Brittany Underwood in the lead role of aspiring songwriter Loren.

Nick’s Viacom cousin TeenNick has had success with this form via imported daily dramas Degrassi and House of Anubis. Here’s hoping they can do it again when Hollywood Heights premeires at 9 pm EST, June 18 on Nick-at-Nite. Like Hollywood Heights on Facebook
