Pushing Daisies Stomped, Heroes Rises Again!

The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller is about to sign a two year deal with NBC.  His first order of business, to step back into Heroes and start to bring that back to the ratings juggernaut that it once was.  Fuller was responsible for some of the best episodes of the troubled show's first season.

Fuller is expected to join ranks with creator Tim Kring once again at episode 20 and for the final three episodes of the season.  Will this bring Heroes back to the heights that it once held?

Who Gets Shot on Tomorrow's Heroes?

For me, Elle and Sylar's chemistry is one of the most engaging things about Heroes right now. The results of the poll I posted about the couple indicate I'm not alone in that opinion. 84% of you thought they were smokin' hot together.

No sooner have they kissed, than a gun is aimed at them. In tomorrow's episode, is it all going to be over for them? Is it curtains for one of the smouldering anti-heroes?

The Hayden Clutch

First she pimped Candie's and now Hayden has The Hayden Clutch by Dooney & Bourke.

The Hayden Clutch is made from Italian calfskin and comes with a 24-carat gold plated lion head, inspired by the Heroes star’s zodiac sign, the Leo. You can pick it up at your neighborhood Dooney & Bourke store next month, for the oh so cheap price tag of $295.

Heroes Creator Apologizes For Calling Fans "Poor Saps" and "Dip****s"

Heroes  creator Tim Kring is apologizing for calling fans "poor saps" and "dip****s." Here is his open letter to fans below.

I need to strongly apologize for the slightly mangled quote of mine that is making it’s way around the internet. It was made while trying to explain the rise in DVR and online audience for the show. I was making the point that these platforms now offer a superior way to watch the show (without commercials, with extra content, commentary, at the audience’s convenience, etc.) And went on to say how it’s getting to the point where “watching the show on the air is relegated to the poor saps and dip****s who can’t figure out how to program their DVR’s”. (Or something close to that) It was a boneheaded attempt at being “cute” and making a point. Instead, it turned out to be just plain insulting and stupid. I know now how it sounded, but I truly never meant to suggest anything negative about our audience. No one cares more about the fans than we do at Heroes, and no one appreciates them more than me. We are grateful for whatever way people are finding our show. Now more than ever.

I want to take this opportunity to say that I’m very sorry for this careless, lame remark. The best way to make it up to you is to live up to my promise that the upcoming episodes of the show are fantastic. I think you’ll agree we’re really on a roll and we couldn’t be more excited about the last four episodes of “Villains” and the upcoming volume, “Fugitives”, which we feel will be a huge hit with the audience.

Thank you for hearing me out.

Tim Kring

If NBC wasn't already worried Heroes sinking ratings I wonder if any apology would have been issued?

Finally, An Electrifying Couple On Heroes?

After last season’s lack-lustre romantic pairings, could there be a spark between Sylar and Elle? Or are Parkman and Daphne the ones to watch? Maybe couples aren’t, and never will be, part of the Heroes master plan.

If the latter is true, damn it! I want some soapy hook-ups in amongst the Primatech vs. Pinehearst drama. Am I just being stupid, or is it pretty unclear what the goals of Pinehearst are? World domination? World decimation? Who knows.

Anyway, pick your couple, or vote that romantic pairings aren’t Heroes forte.
