McKenzie Westmore 'Faces Off' This Wednesday on SyFy

Former All My Children and Passions star McKenzie Westmore has a new gig! This Wednesday, January 26, Westmore hosts Syfy’s new reality elimination competition Face Off. In Face Off contestants vie to become the next SFX artist, win a year’s supply of Alcone makeup and $100,000. Westmore’s father, Oscar winning makeup artist Michael Westmore, will make a surprise appearance as a guest judge. Watch Face Off promos after the jump.

David Hasselhoff Reality Show Gets the Heave-Ho

New York Magazine
is reporting that The Young and the Restless alum David Hasselhoff's new reality show, The Hasselhoffs, was given the axe after two episodes by A&E. According to the site, the show debuted on Dec. 5, with dismal ratings of 718,000 while its second episode brought in 505,000. No word on whether the network will burn off the remaining eight episodes.

MTV has two hit reality shows (Jersey Shore and Teen Mom) where charm school graduates routinely pound on other human beings, and in an odd showing of Women's Liberation, the abusers are primarily female.
A recent episode of ABC's primetime hit Private Practice featured a storyline where a mentally-disturbed woman acted out by physically assaulting her husband.
