VH1 Greenlights Third Season of Single Ladies!

Get ready for another season of drama, romance and comedy with featuring those Georgia peaches. No, not the ones from Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta! VH1 has given the okay for a third season of ratings darling Single Ladies. In a released statement, EVP of original programming and production's Jeff Olde stated:

Our viewers’ love affair with ‘Single Ladies’ got even bigger this year, growing significantly from its successful first season and dominating its timeslot on basic cable. We’re extremely happy that we’ll be able to give the audience another great season of the series and its honest, current take on love, dating and female friendship.

Is Victoria Rowell Stalking Keisha on Single Ladies?

Keisha (LisaRay McCoy) has more drama going on than a Joe and Katherine Jackson Family Reunion would these days on Single Ladies! Last week, the video vixen-turned-real-estate-agent got spooked senseless when someone sent a snake—disguised as roses—to her house. That was after Keisha's secret not-quite admirer slashed all four tires on her Aston Martin!

While in this week's promo (See after the jump!) it appears Keisha and Co. think her stalker might be a dude, we're starting to wonder if it could be that hot mess Veronica, played by former The Young and the Restless superstar Victoria Rowell!

Sure, Ronnie tried to act like everything was cool once she learned her ex-booty call Sean (Terrell Tilford) was romancing the fiery Ms. Green, but you know what they say about a soap diva scorned... READ MORE

PC #55: Political Animals

On today’s Pop Confidential podcast Jamey Giddens, Luke Kerr, Jillian Bowe, Regan Cellura and Melodie Aikels discuss the latest celebrity headlines and TV storylines, including:

Amanda Bynes was accused in a third hit and run. Bret Easton Ellis dissed White Collar and Magic Mike star Matthew Bomer over 50 Shades of Grey. What is the Jackson family doing now? Taylor Swift is dating a Kennedy, but will she end up writing or and singing about the relationship? Olympian Gabby Douglas found herself in a hair controversy after winning Gold in gymnastics.

The PC gang then dish about USA Network's hot summer TV series Suits, Covert Affairs, White Collar, Burn Notice and Necessary Roughness. Why aren’t more people watching Political Animals? Has True Blood jumped the shark? PC’s Jamey Giddens weighed in. Former The Young and the Restless star Victoria Rowell guests on Single Ladies.  Luke wanted Jamey to explain some of Awkward’s past twists on MTV.

The Great Gatsby was pushed back to summer 2013. One PC co-host is looking forward to it, another not so much. Lindsay Lohan is in talks to star in Scary Movie 5, but would anyone insure a film with both Lohan and Charlie Sheen in it?

All this and much more on today’s Pop Confidential podcast.

Peep All My Children's Denise Vasi SEXIN' Dancing With The Stars' William Levy in Single Ladies Season 2 Trailer!

ATL is the place to be this summer, as VH1 brings back its smash hit, primetime soap opera Single Ladies, starting Memorial Day! Starring LisaRaye McCoy as video vixen-turned-business woman Keisha, Charity Shea as divorcee April and newcomer Denise Vasi (All My Children) as heiress Raquel, Single Ladies is the saga of three sisterfriends loving and living in Hollywood South aka Atlanta, Georgia.

Don't let the title make you think this sudser is only about the women. Season 2 of Single Ladies boasts a cast of some of Hollywood and the A's hottest guys, including Dancing With The Stars' William Levy, hip hop god T.I., Romeo and One Life to Live alum Terrell Tilford; and don't forget series regulars D.B. Woodside as Malcolm Franks—the mocha Mr. Big to Keisha's caramel Carrie Bradshaw—and Travis Winfrey as the ladies' sassy pal Omar. Daytime soap legend Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla, The Young and The Restless) will also appear in a recurring gig during Season 2.

Anyone who read my interview with series creator Stacy A. Littlejohn last year knows I am counting down to a week from Monday. Watch the supertrailer for Season 2 of Single Ladies after the jump!
