The View featured You Tube sensation Tommy Wooldridge on Thursday. This is the guy who famously posted videos of himself using song lyrics as pick-up lines on women and the subsequent rejections he experienced.

Julie Chen's admission to having eye surgery to make them look less Asian continues to generate headlines. Chen has denied additional plastic surgery and the TV station where she once worked has issued an apology to Chen for the racism she experienced.
According to Dayton Daily News, WDTN apologized to Chen the day after her revelation first aired.
“We are sorry to hear about what happened to CBS’ Julie Chen in 1995 when she was a reporter at WDTN-TV,” Joe Abouzeid, WDTN and WBDT president and general manager said in a statement. “The station was under different management and ownership during that time. At WDTN and WBDT, we don’t tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind.” READ MORE

Rosie O’Donnell has landed a recurring role on The Fosters. The former daytime talk show host will play Rita Hendricks, a no-nonsense, but kind-hearted foster care worker. Rita will become a mentor to a member of the Foster clan on the hit ABC Family drama.
O’Donnell is no stranger to the world of foster care world. The actress is a foster and adoptive mother herself and staunch advocate for the foster care system. On her upcoming role, O’Donnell stated:

Elisabeth Hasselbeck had a busy first day in her new job as co-host of Fox & Friends. In addition to being welcomed by Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade with a cake, the show surprised her by having Sherri Shepherd bring presents.
Hasselbeck also got a shout out from Regis Philbin. Doocy, Kilmeade and Hasselbeck then showed segments from their visit to Duck Dynasty, which included all three wearing beards.
Sean Hannity dropped in to welcome Hasselbeck and brought up his visit to The View while Rosie O'Donnell was a co-host. Hasselbeck joked she tries to block out parts of that time.
Fox & Friends additionally launched a week-long "Battle of the Sexes", which pits Hasselbeck and Maria Molina against Doocy and Kilmeade. The women won the first day of the five-day competition.
