It looks like the enemy of Tracy’s enemy will soon be her friend. TV Guide Magazine’s Michael Logan caught up with Jane Elliot who revealed Tracy and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) go into business together to beat AJ (Sean Kanan). However, that’s not the only twist! The war over Tracy and AJ’s different Pickle-Lila recipes will land them on The Chew in an epic “Clash of the Condiments.”
Do Tracy's plans go off without a hitch? Hardly. "Nikolas gets cold feet about sabotaging A.J. and he traps Tracy in her hotel with two beefy bodyguards to keep her away from The Chew," Elliot says. "Tracy miraculously gets away and bursts into the studio while A.J. is being interviewed, much to his chagrin." Adds the actress: "Frank will kill me if I say anything more. Let's put it this way: This is the denouement of the relish storyline and things are going to take a very interesting turn."
The “Clash of the Condiments” will take place on General Hospital on May 13 and 14. Read the entire preview at TVGuide.com.
The queen has spoken! In a recent interview with our pals over at Zap2it, once-and-future One Life to Live grande dame Erika Slezak blasted the programs ABC Daytime chose to replace two of their beloved daytime soaps with. Said Slezak:
"I have to say, they replaced them with real rubbish. 'The Chew' is hanging on, but how many cooking shows can you have? You have a channel called the Food Network; you can go there 24 hours a day, so do we need another show where they're all talking over each other? And 'The Revolution' was so bad, they canceled it in five months."
Okay, this is kinda cute. ABC Daytime's The Chew is offering up special menu items in celebration of General Hospital's 50th Anniversary. My favorite is the one for grilled halibut with a side of Pickle-Lila. Hey, I'm low-carbing, so I can't have Molly's freaking Belgian chocolate cake, okay?! Check out the entire menu after the jump!
General Hospital's favorite daughter, Genie Francis (Laura) will be appearing on ABC Daytime's The Chew this Friday, March 1. Look for Francis to help cook up a breakfast-for-dinner dish, as well as teasing deets from her sudser's upcoming 50th birthday.
The New York Post is reporting The Chew frontman Mario Batali is allegedly installing alarms in his New York restaurants to warn workers that a food inspector is on the premises.
From the article:
A button at the hostess stand triggers a loud buzzer in the kitchen, said a Batali employee, and gives staff a chance to toss out what’s on the stove or in the oven and go on break before the inspector enters.
“You’re supposed to keep pressing that button,” the employee said. READ MORE
