Oprah's Reveals Family Secret on Show

So what was Oprah’s “miracle of all miracles”? Today Oprah revealed on her show that she has a half-sister named Patricia. During the dramatic hour viewers learned how Patricia and her children have known the secret since 2007, but never attempted to profit from the revelation. Oprah said told viewers "She never once thought to sell the story." The emotional and riveting show may go down as one of the best family reunions Oprah has ever hosted.

In other Oprah news, the Daily Mail UK is reporting that OWN has pushed back the premiere date of Sandra Ferguson’s OWN series Finding Sarah because it is “boring.”

Oprah has granted a lot of wishes and helped a lot of people over the years, but Monday January 24 she’s going to reveal her own personal “miracle of all miracles.” In the promo for the upcoming episode, the Might O reveals she “was keeping a family secret for months” and that she was “given news that shook me to the core.” As news spread of Oprah's upcoming big secret Twitter exploded with speculation. AOL has compiled some of the hilarious tweets. Hugh Jackman Injures Eye During Oprah Show Stunt in Oz


Hugh Jackman darn near put his eye out trying to show out for The Mighty O down in Australia. The actor attempted to sail in on some contraption for a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show at the Sydney Opera House and ended up hitting his doggone eye! Jackman wasn't seriously hurt, according to our pals over at Zap2it, but paramedics were called in to ice his eye. Hugh, you ain't the Wolverine; you just play him at the movies! Oprah and Anne Sweeney Top Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment List

According to The Hollywood Reporter, media titans Oprah Winfrey and Co-chairman of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney/ABC Television Group Anne Sweeney (who is Brian Frons' boss) landed on their coveted Women In Entertainment's Power 100 list. Sweeney came in at the number one spot for the second year in a row for the financial revenue generated, value of assets and the number of employees she manages. The mighty O is no slouch either, sliding in at number four for helming Harpo studios, O The Oprah Magazine and OWN network.

Whoopi Goldberg Visits Oprah For 25th Anniversary of The Color Purple


 
 

Get ready for Celie and Sofia to reunite, Oprah-style! The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg will make an apperance on The Mighty O's couch to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Color Purple being released in theaters. Both Goldberg and Winfrey nabbed their first Academy-Award nominations for the film (neither won). Goldberg will make her way to Winfrey's show on Nov. 15.

Former President George W. Bush sits down with TV titan Oprah today to chat about his memoir Decision Points. He will also and have his first interview with his parents, former President George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush. The family will also give viewers an inside look of their Kennebunkport summer estate.
