NeNe Leakes to Return as Glee’s Coach Roz

NeNe Leakes has been busy with The New Normal and The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see her on Glee again. PC #50: Talking Pop Culture With Totally Tyler

On today’s Pop Confidential podcast Jamey Giddens, Luke Kerr, Jillian Bowe and Melodie Aikels are joined by popular blogger Totally Tyler, author of Your Boyfriend and Other Guys I’ve Kissed: The Tails of Totally Tyler.

The gang and Tyler weigh in on the latest celebrity gossip, including: Brangelina’s engagement, celebrities showing out on Twitter and Jennifer Lopez saying no to Marc Anthony wanting her back.

The topic turns to the new Shonda Rhimes series Scandal. Jamey enjoyed Scandal, but doesn’t want to see Private Practice cancelled in favor of it. What does Tyler think of ABC’s Southern-fried soap GCB? Luke encourages fans to give The CW’s Ringer another try. Could Jillian’s beloved CSI: Miami be cancelled?

MDNA, the latest album from pop icon Madonna, posted the biggest sales drop in history. Tyler has a theory on what contributed to the drop and is ticked Jamey didn't buy the CD! The boy bands One Direction and The Wanted are feuding, yet the panel basically doesn't know they are.

The Hunger Games has captured big box office dollars, but Tyler doesn’t think the movie lives up to the books.

After refusing to buy an e-reader or tablet, Jamey finally gave in and decided to get a Kindle when he couldn’t find a copy of E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey in bookstores. Reportedly, Universal and Focus ponied up $5 million for the movie rights to the book being called “mommy porn.” All this and much more on today’s Pop Confidential podcast!

Cooper, unsurprisingly, thinks that his reportorial reputation will remain untouched no matter how many reality stars he interviews during the day. “You can be very serious and very passionate about [serious news] and still like [Real Housewives of Atlanta star] NeNe Leakes,” he said. “People know that you can juggle different things.” READ MORE
