The Talk's Aisha Tyler to Drop By Modern Family

 Aisha Tyler is heading over from her wacky family on CBS Daytime's The Talk, to visit ABC's very own Modern Family. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the TV gabber will play Wendy, an old friend of Mitchell's (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).  Tyler will also appear on The Price is Right as a celebrity model on January 15.

The Young and the Restless and The Talk won't be the only places you can see Melissa Ordway and Aisha Tyler, respecitvely, on CBS daytime this month. Ordway, who plays Abby Newman on Y&R, will be a The Price is Right celebrity guest model on January 13. The Talk's Aisha Tyler will take a turn as a celebrity guest model on January 15.

The women of The Talk aren’t biting their tongues when it comes to their feelings about rival The View’s revamped panel. During a recent visit to The Howard Stern Show, co-hosts Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne dissed the ABC Daytime talk show for hiring Jenny McCarthy.

When Chen was asked if ABC made a mistake bringing McCarthy on—after Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck departed—Chen answered she did think it was a mistake. Here's an excerpt:

"What made The View so popular and so good was that it was five different women—from five different walks of life—discussing politics."


Entire CBS Daytime Lineup Posts Year-Over-Year November Sweeps Growth!

Almost five million people (4.8M) tuned in for CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless during the 2013 November Sweeps period. Daytime's top soap was up 10 percent in total viewers over the same Sweeps period last year.

With approximately 3.7 million viewers for the crucial time period, The Bold and the Beautiful grew by 16 percent over November Sweeps 2012. CBS Daytime's The Talk was up 20 percent over last November Sweeps in total viewers. It's important to note, the 2012 November Sweeps were impacted by Hurricane Sandy coverage.
