The Wendy Williams Show
Don’t expect former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mom Janet Hubert to invite talk show host Wendy Williams over for a girl's brunch anytime soon. The All My Children and One Life to Live alum tore Williams a new one, after watching former onscreen daughter Tatyana Ali be grilled by Williams on her self-titled talk show, about what exactly made Hubert leave the 90’s sitcom. Hubert stated:
Wendy Williams, or whatever you are supposed to be, I’m not quite sure. I’m writing you yet again, to appeal to your sense of womanhood or manhood as some suggest. Please close your mouth about things that you know nothing of.
Now, I watched your show to see dear Tatyana Ali sadly to say, fall into your trap. She even brought pictures of our days on the show from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. You know most people watch you just to see what heinous things your mouth will say compared to what an overflowing volcano will spew forth on that day. Now perhaps other black women have allowed you to berate them and continued to support you in this manner of madness and rewarding hatefulness. It seems to have become the norm and has taken over our society completely. But I, Janet Hubert, sat there and watched you tell the world that I was not a nice mother. I’m thinking to myself, the only person who has the right to say that is my child. So I sat there and watched you like some devilish sinkhole swallow up Tatyana Ali You reduced her to a child sitting their attempting to keep some semblance of dignity about her as you pried and invaded her life until you got what you wanted.
Tatyana Ali was back on daytime Tuesday, but not on CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless. The actress, who recurs as Devon's (Bryton James) galpal Roxanne on Y&R, appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to plug the season finale of her smart, funny BET sitcom Second Generation Wayans.
The Fresh Princess of Belair also fielded questions about one night stands and a possible hook-up with teen soap star-turned-rapper Drake! Watch the interview below.
Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams is stripping down and bearing all for a new PETA billboard in Times Square. So, why did Williams, who has been known to wear a decent amount of fur in the past, have a change of heart? Celebuzz quotes Williams,
“We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let the animals keep theirs,” said Williams.
Zap2it sheds more light on Williams' reasoning.
"I don't really think that fur is the mark of success anymore," says Williams. "As a decent person, with compassion, it just seems like the right thing to support."

How you doin’? Wendy Williams’ talk show is certainly doing well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Wendy Williams Show is getting a new studio, enhanced set and an longer “Hot Topics” segment, all of which will be broadcast in glorious high-definition.
"People will recognize the set from last season, but this season it will be enhanced," Williams told The Hollywood Reporter. Additionally, "we're using high-def, which will make everything sharper, and we have a bigger [studio] space."
Williams also said the "Hot Topics" segment -- a "fan favorite" in which she delivers her take on the biggest headlines -- previously ran about 10-12 minutes, but the expanded segment will run "a good 18 minutes."
"And that's before we even go to commercial," she said. "We get a lot of ground covered in that time."
