This should be an awesome weekend for any ABC fan to attend. However, I can't help but notice a few things.

Is it just me or is General Hospital sorely lacking any veteran actors? All My Children and One Life to Live seem to have a nice mix of veteran and "newbies" representing them. Why can't General Hospital?

Last year when daytime veterans/icons Anthony Geary and Genie Francis were the opening attraction of Super Soap Weekend the fans loved it. Couldn't  they have invited Stuart Damon and Leslie Charleston? Rumor has it that the show may be doing something special for Alan and Monica's 30th anniversary (though I'd give the SSW planners credit if invited Stuart Damon's but his health prohibited him from being to attend such an event)? I'll bet a lot fans who would pay good money to see their Prince Charming with Monica in public one last time.
