Where Do You Want Brandon Beemer (Ex-Shawn, Days) To Go?
So rumors are swirling that exiting Days Of Our Lives actor Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) may be heading over to ABC Daytime. One rumor circulating has Beemer being considered for a role on General Hospital as a hitman hired by Trevor Lansing to take out Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos.
No official word has surfaced yet, however more speculation from ABC Soaps In Depth mentionsOne Life To Live is also interested in the young actor as a Joey Buchanan recast with further rumors that big brother Kevin, could possibly follow. "According to an insider, soon-to-exit Days of Our Lives star Brandon Beemer [Shawn] is in talks with the soap to play Viki and Clint's younger son and that the show wanted Days' Bryan R Dattilo [Lucas] to play the role but moved on to Beemer upon learning that his co-star is still under contract with the NBC soap".
It appears One Life To Live is hoping to bring back the Buchanan family in full force and I personally would rather see Beemer on One Life To Live than on General Hospital as another damn mobster. I think with the success One Life To Live has seen hiring former Days Of Our Lives cast member Farah Fath (Gigi, ex-Mimi Days) it just makes petfect sense that they'd hire another rejected actor from Days. However Joey and Kevin were last played by Nathan Fillion and Dan Gauthier, respectively, when Asa's death became the centerpiece of OLTL's 10,000th episode last August which makes me wonder if Brandon Beemer may be too young to play the role of Joey (older brother to Jess & Nat)...but then again this is soaps and anything is possible!
