ADONIS 2008 Starts This Week at Soaphunks.net
Are you guys ready for another year of voting for daytime's Adonis?
For those who don't know about this competition let me break it down for you. Once a year soaphunks.net holds a contest to see who the fans think is the hottest guy on daytime. Every network and every show has guys in the competition so this is a chance to support your favorites. And also to check out some you may have never seen before but will be glad you did.
Past winners have included Justin Breuning (ex-Jamie Martin on All My Children), Mark Collier (ex-Mike Kasnoff on As The World Turns), Eric Martsolf (Ethan Winthrop on Passions), and the latest winner James Scott (EJ Wells Dimera on Days of Our Lives). Each year the contests seems to get more and more voters, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top this round.
Now for those of you who are Passions fans unfortunately this year none of the guys are eligible due to the fact that Passions was cancelled and it's last airing will be before the competition ends. But trust me there are still plenty of hotties to chose from.
How votings works
This year is going to be a little different, and in my opinion, is going to level the playing field and give every guy a better chance. The 32 finalists have been chosen and separated into 4 weeks of semifinals, 8 guys in each week. The top two from each week will move on into the final 12. At the end of the 4 weeks there will be a wildcard week which will determine the last 4 guys to make it in. This year for the semi-finals instead of giving all your votes to one guy or spreading them between a couple of favorites, you now have to rank each guy from 1 to 8.

If you don't know who a guy is or watch his show that's ok cause this isn't an acting competition. Check out the pictures on soaphunks.net and decide which of the guys is hotter than the others. Somehow I don't think anyone is going to find this too daunting of a task lol.
