Ratings August 11 - 15, 2008
Here are the ratings for the past couple of weeks. The Olympics that were aired on NBC allowed Days Of Our Lives to have HUGE ratings gains due to the extra Olympic emphasis with +629,000 more viewers tuning in compared to the previous week! General Hospital was the only other soap to see substantial gains of +203,000 more viewers tuning in compared to the previous week allowing them to move up a point.
However not everything was as glorious for the rest of the soaps particularly All My Children which saw a loss of -91,000 viewers compared to the previous week (same as As The World Turns) to land them at their all time lowest rating ever. The biggest loser of the week goes to Bold And The Beatiful which saw a loss of -110,000 viewers compared to the previous week. Finally I'd like to mention Young And The Restless which has now sunk again in the ratings for the second week in a row after their great July gains in viewership. They lost -260,000 viewers last week but only gained +1000 back this week. Hopefully this trend will not continue.
