TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is handicapping the 2009 Supporting Actor Emmy Awards in his latest Nelson Ratings. Here are his picks.

Trent Dawson (Henry, As The World Turns)

Jason Thompson (Patrick, General Hospital)

Bradley Cole (Jeffrey, Guiding Light)

John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex, One Life to Live)

Michael Graziadei (Daniel, The Young and the Restless)

Ted Shackelford (Jeffrey, Y&R)

Wild Cards: Can Emmy-less Van Hansis (Luke) jump from younger actor to the supporting player race now that’s he’s 26? Moreover, does he even have the scenes to win considering ATWT hasn’t written for the character in eons? The Academy may nominate the popular star because Luke’s a gay character, however, Hansis better start praying NATAS introduces a guest-star category so he doesn’t haven’t to compete against two-time Emmy winner Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, GL) again!
