I wasn't a fan of Adam (Chris Engen) the first go around, but I have to say I'm sort of enjoying this storyline of him going blind. While the "Victor's diary" storyline that spun out of Sabrina's death always felt a bit contrived it did provide Melodie Thomas Scottwith some great scenes as Nikki down in Mexico. Now it seems that the writers at The Young and the Restless are either trying to salvage the character of Adam or at least give him a better send off then going to jail. I didn't watch Y&R "back in the day" during the Hope and Victor (Eric Braeden) storyline so I am very interested how long time viewers are reacting to the story of Adam going blind. What are your thoughts?
